About Nuclear Medicine

The Division of Nuclear Medicine at UMMC performs several radionuclide diagnostic imaging studies using gamma imaging and PET/CT for various central nervous system, cardiac, endocrine, pulmonary, gastroenterology and GU disorders for both adults and pediatrics. Radionuclide therapies are administered for thyroid disorders, lymphoma and metastatic bone pain.
